Open-concept Living
The transformation began with a bold vision: to shatter the constraints of a traditional layout and invite the outdoors in. The renovation team set out to dissolve barriers—both literal and figurative—by embracing the principles of open-concept living. Gone are the days of segmented, dimly lit rooms; in their place, an airy expanse unfurls across the main floor, blurring the lines between kitchen, dining, and living areas. The most striking upgrade lies in the generous addition of massive windows that wrap the main floor, forming expansive walls of glass that frame the changing sky, the movement of leaves, and the play of sunlight across every surface.
A Welcoming Kitchen
Central to this reimagining was a purposeful relocation of the kitchen. Recognizing that the original kitchen was cramped and tucked away, the design team made a daring decision: to swap its position with the old family room. Now occupying the largest and most welcoming space on the main floor, the new kitchen is both a showpiece and a gathering place. With more square footage and an unobstructed layout, the kitchen radiates functionality and style. Imagine sleek cabinetry lined against a backdrop of shimmering glass, a vast island perfect for casual breakfasts or evening cocktails, and state-of-the-art appliances that promise to elevate every culinary adventure. The kitchen’s new position aligns it with the best lines of sight and light transfer, ensuring that whether you’re preparing a family meal or hosting guests, you remain connected to the action throughout the home.
Creating New Space
Where once an open-to-above vestibule marked the entrance, now stands a thoughtfully enclosed area that has unlocked the potential for new amenities. By closing in this lofty section, the remodel was able to create a spacious full bathroom adjoining one of the spare bedrooms. This clever adaptation transforms the room into a private guest suite—perfect for visitors or multi-generational living. The new bathroom is appointed with modern fixtures, elegant tiling, and plenty of natural light, offering guests a luxurious and comfortable retreat.
Luxurious Ensuite
The master ensuite is nothing short of breathtaking—a crown jewel of the remodel. Completely redesigned with rich blue accent tones, the space exudes tranquility and luxury. An oversized shower with rain head, deep soaking tub, and custom vanity are all enveloped in a palette that evokes a spa-like atmosphere. Tiles shimmer in cool hues, complemented by polished chrome fixtures and under-cabinet lighting that creates a warm, inviting glow. The ensuite is a place to unwind, recharge, and indulge in everyday luxury.
